Lynne Hemms Game at Bournville Cricket Club,  10th September

Sunday 10th September was the 3rd annual Lynne Hemms Memorial game. Phil Strong led a side of past and present veterans of Bournville CC, and Feraz Mustafa led the mixed side from all sections of the club. The weather was again superb, and a close game ensued.

A close game was won by the younger XI with notable performances from Richard Lloyd, Jon Tall, Alex Bullivant and James Beech. The vets got close with some hard hitting from Rob Ball and some accurate bowling from Sid Price, Keith West and Eddie Evans.

A small number of photo’s from the day are enclosed. Bournville CC thanks everyone for their support and the day raised £115 for St Mary’s Hospice. We all look forward to next years game.
