 Adults Section .........

 Saturday 1st XI

Unfortunately we were relegated this season, a major reason for this is the lack of runs and this can be seen through the averages, however there were notable exceptions, Ashfaq showed enthusiasm and heart throughout they year and was rewarded with some good performances, Apart from Ashfaq Jason Green, Naveed Saeed, Richard Lloyd and Jon Tall took over fifteen wickets this year. Terry started the year slowly but scored consistently in the second have of the season including two half centuries. Other notable batting achievements included James Cole hitting his maiden 1st XI century against Hampton.

Bowling - Ashfaq Ahmed
Batting -Terry Mitchener

Saturday 2nd XI

The 2nd team finished seventh in the league but were consistently in the top half of the table for the majority of the year. Alex Bullivant won the bowling averages in his first full season in the 2nd team, the bowling attack performed well consistently with the experienced Eddie Evans again taking 30 wickets in the season and Ehsan Yousaf also contributing heavily with 26 wickets. The batting award was again taken by Ehsan Yousaf with over 600 runs including a century against Mosley Ashfield; he was helped along by the consistent opening partnership of Craig Thomas and Feraz Mustafa.

Sunday 1st XI

Unfortunately as on Saturday the first team was relegated, this due to a poor start and finish to the season which saw the team relegated on the last day of the season, however again there were some valuable contribution, Ashfaq was excellent with the ball, he was helped by consistent performances from James Cole and John Tall. The batting was very inconsistent but Waqas made some important scores.

Sunday 2nd XI

The team finished a creditable 2nd behind a very strong Pickwick team; there were good performances from the award winners but also Keith Rostill who scored an excellent century against Alvechurch, consistent scores from Craig Thomas. The bowling was an all round team performances with valuable contribution from Sean Wayne, Sammi Hassiane, Tom Vincent and the miserly Alex Bullivant.
